This is a hop bomb for sure. More of a West Coast style IPA. Semi-clearish medium yellow to light orange appearance. Could use a little more malt for flavor and character, but the hop is where this is heading. I like the fact that these Midwest brewers are starting to distribute here in FL. Looking forward to sampling more.

12 oz can. Pours clear copper amber with a medium frothy off white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is subdued - sweet caramel malt with some alcoholic hops.

The flavor is sweet caramel malts with a pretty big piney resiny hop finish and quite a bit of alcohol in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, a decent DIPA. I liked this much better on tap. It was very hazy with more fruit and less alcohol. This tastes a bit like Arrogant Bastard.

On tap at Destihl a few weeks ago. Big Imp that is pretty smooth all around. Pours a clear copper with a finger sized head. Aroma is well hopped, grassy and gingery. Taste is hoppy as well. Clean, spritzy biscuit malt with a semi sweet, but soft bitter finish.
