This version of our Oatmeal Espresso Stout is bourbon barrel-aged for over three months to infuse the complex characters of bourbon and the burnt oak wood into the beer. A balance of flavor, aroma and mouthfeel are sought with the marriage of the Stout beer characteristics and the barrel and bourbon flavors.

Pretty awesome beer enjoyed at Destihl recently. Pitch black, put slight tinge of red near the top. Aroma is pleasent, instant coffee and toffee nose. Taste is lively, generous sweet cofee notes, smooth crisp bourbon finish.
