This traditional Bavarian Hefeweizen was made with wheat, pilsner, carared, and spelt malts. Spelt is an ancient variety of wheat grown in Southern Bavaria. Aromas of banana, clove and bubblegum rise from this pale colored, lightly hopped ale. As the Germans say, "Prost!"

the only miss for Deschutes in recent memory. nothing wrong with it, but it was quite boring, especially when sampled before and then with the far superior Ivanna Weiss. Like a light, simplistic version of that beer. Danny Devito to TWINS Ahhhhnold.
