This mouthwateringly delicious IPA gets its flavor from a heavy helping of citra and mosaic hops. Don't worry, no fruit was harmed in the making of this beer. Malt: Pale, Crystal, Munich Hops: Nugget, Citra, Mosaic

Taps clearish caramel with a good buff head that leaves heavy lacing. Aroma presents resiny hops, crisp malt and zesty grapefruit with some orange on the side. Flavor offers piney hops, tart and zesty grapefruit, tangy orange, toasty malt, tropical and apple hints. Texture yields decent body and lively fizz. Squeeze it down the hatch.

355ml bottle at Bier Markt, Sparks st. Pours a slightly hazy golden/light amber appearance with a thick frothy off-white head. Thick dirty lacing remains. Lively carbonation. Aromas of herbal and earthy hops, subtle grassy hops and hints of toasted malt. Flavours are earthy, subtle citrus and hints of caramel in the finish. Nice and smooth mouthfeel. Quite and easy going IPA, not overly bitter with some nice sweet notes to balance it all out. This one's quite good overall.

Cloudy amber pour with a medium off white head. A lot of lace on the glass. Powerful hop aroma with citrus and pine notes. Citrus flavor along with grapefruit. Great IPA.

Clear amber off-white lacing foam head. Strong bitter aroma and taste. Some fruit notes still. Lasting bitter after taste, some fruity tones. (Houston 201408)

The fifth in the "Pick Your Own 6-Pack" Sampler. Pours a clear copper color with a one finger eggshell head that leaves a bunch of foamy lacing on the sides of the glass. I smell tons of citrus, predominately grapefruit and lemon, and spicy, piney hops. The citrus and piney hops leads the way on my tongue, followed by some sweet malt to balance out the flavor. Very resinous, something I would expect from a Double IPA, usually not in an IPA. Mouthfeel is full and dank. An impressive IPA, whose price point ($9.99/6-pack), makes this a great value to boot. Recommended for fans of the style.

12 oz bottle, best by 6/7/14. Pours slightly hazy orange copper with a big meringue like off white head that retains well and laces the glass some.

The aroma is lots of hoppy citrus fruits (orange, lemon and some tropical) and some resin hops with a little caramel malt.

The flavor is sweet doughy caramel malts with a lot of citrus and some piney, resiny hops. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with low carbonation.

Overall, a very nice IPA with lots of sweet, fruity, resiny hops.

    22oz bottle -

Another gift of a beer from Deschutes. Cat piss aroma, strong pine resin, grapefruit zest. Fresh squeezed indeed. A hoppy profile that rivals many IIPA's, with a lighter than expected malt base. Truly a fantastic IPA and priced right, which is a plus in my book.

Another winner from Deschutes, aromas and flavors center around citrus hops, lots of melon flavors coming out as well, rather fruity overall. Some malt to balance it out, but who cares about that..

With a name like that, it has to be good, right? Great west coast IPA with tons of pine, grapefruit and a bit of lemon and pineapple. Maybe a touch of caramel malt as well but this is all about the hops. Very tasty.

this was the weekly cask conditioned special at the portland pub, and holy cow was it good! huge hop aroma...citrus and pine, but with a woodsy earthy undertone to it and enough malt to balance. The flavor stood up to the cask, and the cask made the body phenomenal and the head and lacing everlasting. great beer. deliciously fruity in the bottle.
