Like fresh powder, it’s a seize-the-moment thing. At harvest, we rush Goschie Farms’ Cascade hops fresh from vine to kettle. Not any Cascades, mind you, but an heirloom strain, from a single field, restored from the original rhizome. Hope you’re as hopped up as we are.

Really impressed that this is so good and its not from the west coast. As fresh as this was, I am sure it doesn't age well, but damn is it good both in nose and hop flavor at a young age. Not as bitter as it could be but still quite wonderful.

From Central City, in a bomber. Pour was shocking in appearance, being horribly light gold for an IPA. Oh yes, a frothy white head was in attendance. Aroma was stunningly bitter, lots of hop and pine along with grapefruit. Flavour was very much the same as the nose - delicious. Smooth mouthfeel, with a little sweet note to finish.

2.3! What the cake?! Mellow IPA in color and feel, but the flavor and aroma are just so hopaliciosly pleasant. Although 7.4%, it does give the impression of being more pale ale than IPA. Not aggressive in any way, but the late additions of fresh hops make it fruity and grassy without being as bitter as is the norm. Seriously sessionable and very good. The one thing that pissed us off is that we just got this beer in Reno yesterday...half way from the bottling date to the expiration date...and it's a bleeping fresh hop beer. Would have been great 6 weeks ago.

22 oz bottle, best by 12/27/12. Pours clear light straw yellow with a medium frothy white head that goes to a thin film and leaves some lacing.
The aroma is grainy, slightly vegetal, malts and grassy metallic hops.
The flavor is sweet vegetal biscuity malts with a good sized grassy (slightly minty) bitterness in the finish. There's a bit of a charred hop aftertaste. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, not my cup of tea. Vegetal, biscuity malts with grassy hops. -

Very excited to get my hands on a couple of bottles. Clear, straw-colored pour with a vibrant white head. Aromatic hops leap out of the glass--pine and grapefruit. Mouthfeel is a little thin but more than made up for by the grapefruit rind and pine flavors and pleasant, medium bitterness. A great wet hop beer that blows their Hop Trip out of the water.
