Born in 2000, yet it is brewed only for the Christmas and New Year and complete the trilogy of "Delirium." His approach is already a superb warm copper color to red recalling "Nocturnum" except in its taste. At first glance, it hides its subtlety by a level of flavors. It be approached with confidence, with a tinge typical Christmas, sauced with a sweet touch, then covered with a bitter tone, without extension and then a strange sensation of freshness on the tongue. Finally, it frees itself entirely from the bottom of the palace like a pepper on a salad of the season.

The 11.2oz bottle poured a clear copper color with thin layer of off white foam. The aroma is a bit light with a medley of fruit such as cherries, dates and raisins along with some spice and hints of alcohol. The flavor follows the aroma somewhat with up front fruitiness from raisins and cherries. Beyond midway a more tart fruit note surfaces tasting like apple and grapes. The flavor is rounded out with the help of coriander spice and pepper.

Bottle. Amber Belgian ale with aromas of caramel, toffee and raisins. Sweet and fruity with very well integrated alcohol.

Bottle: Pored an amberish brown with a off white head. Spicy fruit aroma with a melow ton of hops. Bitter at first but developed into a burnt spicy after taste.

On tap at the Trivia Pub in Moon Twp. Pours reddish orange with a light tan head. Head settles quickly. Appears to have lots of fizz but in tasting is almost flat. Smells really beery with rotten apples. First flavor is a strong initial alcohol bitter hit. Taste of sweet whiskey bubblegum. A lingering bitter finish that fades quickly after a minute or two.

Pour it quick or it will foam out of the bottle. Nice cloudy amber color with massive foamy head. Aroma is pleasant with a average mouthfeel. Nice taste with a little cherry, spice and toffee taste.

Acquired via trade with Chopz. Pours an average size frothy beige head and has a murky amber/brownish appearance with pretty big sediments visible. Some decent sticky lacing. Aromas of toasty malts, yeast, spices and dry fruits. Flavours are mostly dry fruit (plums, raisins) some notes of spices, yeast. The high abv is pretty noticeable, but is not really offensive, still quite drinkable. Has a dry finish. Full bodied mouthfeel. Great retention.

Clear light brown, brown lacing, lasting foam head. Foam kept coming out of bottle. Caramel aroma and taste, some spice (pepper?). Think this bottle is reaching final date. (Velp 201508)

750 ml bottle, 1 year old. Pours hazy ruby amber with a big creamy off white head that retains well and leaves a little lacing.

The aroma is sweet bready (almost gingerbread) caramel malts with a some dark fruit and a little alcohol.

The flavor is sweet gingerbread caramel malts and some dark fruit with some alcohol in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, a decent Belgian, but overly sweet and not too complex.

A murky brown appearance with a beige head. Aroma contains some nutmeg, caramel, toffee, spices, and cherries. The flavor contains some nutmeg, mint, toffee, some bitter nuts, cherries, and toffee. The palate is on the thin side but that’s ok. This beer is very nice and hides the alcohol well. I can’t believe I’ve not rated this before!

Deep amber body thick fizzy head quickly disappears and leaves a ring around the body. Aromas and flavors of candi sugar, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, and a bit of fruit. A well blended and easy to drink Christmas brew.
