Pours out in a murky brown colour with a rich and lasting off-white foam. Dense and sweet fruity aroma of prunes, yeast and figs. Medium to full bodied with dense and sweet fruity notes of prunes, dates, raisins and yeast. Round and chewy mouthfeel. Long yeasty and fruity finish of figs, prunes, blue plums and yeast.

Bottled. Deep brown colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is alcohol, spices, caramel and some burnt wood. Flavour is quite much the same with some fruits along. OK, but nothing very outstanding.

I guess I’m not old enough to enjoy prunes anyhow....A murky amber appearance. Some dark fruit such as raisins, dates (of course) in the aroma. I detect some vinegar in the flavor. I also get some dates, figs, and caramel in there also. Overall this was ok, odd but ok.
