Dead Frog continues to up its game, and continues to be confusing in who it makes beer for.... Very innovative and creative (see mint chocolate brown ale) but also largely brewing for the lowest common denominator. Anyways this beer is one of those exceptions. West Cost style IPA. Pine, Citrus, bitterness, light flowers, medium bodied, thoroughly drinkable, would love to try on tap.

From Central City, in a bomber. Clear copper pour with a brief, creamy, ivory head. Nice enough aroma: hops, pine, and a hint of citrus. Flavour echoed the bouquet, with a good hop bite (77 IBU's with this one) and a bitter hop/pine resin finish. Above average mouthfeel. Dead Frog could do this all the time if they wanted (ditch the toasted coconut shit).
