Sampled from bottle. Pours gold with some slight haze with the yeast suspended. Pear, citrus and spice in the aroma. Quite pleasant. Whipped egg white head and thick lacing. Balanced, with peppery spices and lively fruits. Alcohol is present and warming. Worth a try!

Pours straw color with good clarity, a tall, frothy head, and impressive lacing. Spicy and herbal notes dominate the aroma. Citrusy hop character balances a wheaty and relatively-hearty grain base flavor. Light bodied and fairly smooth. The alcohol content is interestingly disguised. Decent, but I wouldn't say it's a knock out.

The beer poured a cloudy yellow/orange color with a rather large head. The aroma is quite citrusy and floral with some lemons and peaches. I also detect some whipped cream and toffee in the nose. The flavor is somewhat sour with some lemons, vanilla, honey, peaches, and butterscotch. A little bit of spice is also present. The mouthfeel is very smooth and creamy. The alcohol is hidden extremely well. Overall this was a great Tripel.

Bottle courtesy of Boboski: Poured a light blonde color ale with a big pure white foamy head with great retention and lacing. Aroma of Belgian malt with some funky yeast and light sourness. Taste is a mix between semi-sweet Belgian malt with some quite funky yeast but not to the extent of the Flemish Primitive which was just plain gross. Body is above average probably due to low filtration level with great carbonation and no alcohol is overly noticeable. Interesting beer overall but not something I would go for regularly.

08.06.05 750ml bottle, trade from footbalm. Beautiful hazed, glowing gold. Lofty fluff of white foam speckled with yeasty flotsam. Inviting. Luscious, naughty aromas of buttered orchids, candied grapes, sugary toffee, dried banana. Sweet and grapey, candied yams, grandma’s sweet potatoes, warm applesauce, citrus touches. Mild, hidden alcohol. Velvet palate, soft and sensual, filling. Strongly reminiscent of Allagash Triple Reserve.

Poured a golden color with a small, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of spices, light citrus, yeast, and a little of alcohol. Taste of citrus, toasted dough, spices, dry yeast, and an alcohol finish.
