Can, 440ml with a best before date of June 2022, batch: 150. Pours a real dark brown colour with little copper highlights. The head is bubbly at first and deep mocha-coloured, but turns into a creamier lighter mocha-beige colour. Good retention and some nice lacing. Aromas of chocolate and coffee at first. Then, some notes of dark fruits and hints of soy sauce. Flavours of espresso coffee with the bitterness of coffee. Roasted malt base with some dark fruits. The mouthfeel is super creamy, silky smooth. Gets even more bitter as I go. The apricot pits seem to add a little fruitiness, but not a big punch. Goes down nicely for an Imperial Stout.

The beer pours a translucent coac-cola colour with a thin bubbly head that grows into a thicker creamy head after pouring. Aroma is roasted malt, nuts, coffee, and chocolate. The mouthfeel is full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is coffee and chocolate with hints of smoked wood, vanilla, and plums. Quite good. Not too often you find a beer this strong, and this good, in cans! -

Picked up a 440ml can at LCBO. Beer label says 11%abv but small sticker on back says 9.4%abv.? Pours a fairly big thick and frothy auburn coloured head and has a pitch black appearance. Dirty lacing. Moderate carbonation. Aromas of dark roasted malts, coffee, smokey notes, dried fruit (figs, dates). Flavours are very sweet and chocolatey, apricots are quite noticeable, lots of dark roasted malts as well as some coffee notes. Slightly boozy and woodsy finish. Slick and slightly creamy mouthfeel and leaves a nice warming sensation on the palate. Good stuff!
