Pours a clear tawny with a fairly thick light buff head. Malty, fruity aroma has a hint of caramel. Malty flavor has an apple cider overtone plus snippets of caramel and hops. Texture is firm and smooth, and fizz is not strong but lingers, leaving a rather hoppy finish. Hop on over to your favorite watering hole or package store for one.

Cask at the GBBF 2008, gravity dispense. ABV was 5.5%. Golden brown colour, no head. Fruity mild aroma and flavour, notes of blackcurrant and raspberry leaves. Low bitterness.

Tasted at Noogfest 4.0 (2008). This altbier pours a medium orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel and sweet. A med bodied alt. The malts are caramel, fruity and sweet. The hops are mild and slightly spicy. Nice balance. Good balance. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
