Weigh the Anchor, Hoist the Sails! Colossal waves and lashing winds – this was the life of the English sailors whose job it was to bring beer to Colonial India. Only an insane amount of hops and high alcohol content helped it to withstand the perilous journey. Drunken Sailor IPA brings this adventure and powerful taste to the 21st century – Ship Ahoy!

Clear copper, off-white lasting, lacing foam head. Nice hoppy aroma and great bitter taste. Some citrus notes, good beer. Have to try more of this brewery. (Velp 201610)

330ml bottle from Central City. Fluffy ivory head over a cloudy pour of dark orange. I liked the aroma, lots of grapefruit and pine. Mouthfeel too thin. Flavour nowhere near as good as the aroma, maybe some grapefruit and pine, but not much. Caramel notes to finish. Really, a flaccid beer.
