http://www.crazymountainbrewery.com/beer/snowcat-coffee-stout This winter brew is an ode to the colorful characters - The Midnight Marauders – that flatten snow in the wee hours, as they ascend without fear into the darkness. For them, we took some artisanal roasted local coffee and brewed it up in a stout made up of a complex blend of roasted malts. Use this ale in the AM or the PM, to get you through the winter months and don't forget to toast the snowcat drivers who craft the perfect corduroy for first tracks. Food Pairings: Dubliner cheddar cheese, meat pie, tiramisu Drink Mindfully: 1% of all proceeds are donated to Walking Mountains Science

    Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 4

22 oz bottle. Pours black brown with a medium fluffy tan head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is sweet grainy malts with a little acidic coffee.

The flavor does not have a lot going on - some acidic roasted grains with a little stale coffee. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation and is a bit watery.

Overall, I had this on nitro tap and it seemed really washed out. The bottled version is sadly the same. Roasted acidic grains with no real flavors and no real coffee to be seen.
