McNall's Mission combines a variety of sweet and savoury brown malts and local raw honey to create a true Honey Brown Ale. The body is smooth, and delicious flavours of dark caramel, fresh biscuits, baked cookies, and honeyed cereal make for a soothing finish.

The beer pours a dark copper colour with brown edges and a light tan coloured head. The head lasts a few minutes. The aroma is roasted malt, fresh bread, light coffee, and herbal hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is nutty malt, hints of coffee and chocolate, and a decent bitter finish. Quite enjoyable.

Pours a copper-amber colour with a big frothy-creamy warm-beige head, pretty good retention and streaky foam lacing. The nose is quite nice with a mix of roasted malts, chocolate notes like cocoa and blended with hints of vanilla. The taste as well is not really sweet with the honey being at bare minimal and having the hops take over in the finish. Mild fruity notes, chocolate, caramel. A smooth body, so goes down quite nicely. A brown ale on the dryer side, not the sweet side.

Can from LCBO. Pours a large frothy beige head and has an amber coppery appearance. Sticky lacing. Aromas of bready malts, earthy and light resin hops, hints of herbs. Flavours are sweet malts, biscuits, honey is quite subtle. Light toasty malts and hints of caramel. Slick and smooth mouthfeel.
