Had it two version during the festival, first few hours it was on tap as is then it hooked up through a randall filled with fresh Cascade hop cones. Both ways were very nice. Citrus is prevalent with a mild evergreen accent. Copper color and medium bodied with a solid bitterness.

Tasted at Noogfest 4.0 (2008). This IPA pours a medium copper color from the growler. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is citrusy hops and some malt. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are caramel and sweet. The hops are citrusy and grapefruity. A touch on the sweet side, but a very drinkable IPA. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Cloudy amber with a great head and lacing. The aroma is nicely hoppy with backing from the sweet malt. Mandarin oranges and orange blossoms top off the hop character with more bitter aroma lurking underneath. The flavor is fairly sweet malt, almost two sweet with a lingering bitterness in the finish. The alcohol lurks underneath the slightly toasted bread malt and there’s that strained yeast flavor that characterizes many double IPAs and barleywines, but seems out of place in a beer at only 7% abv. If they’d dry this beer out some, it’d be awesome, but the sweetness is holding it back.
