"Kismet" is our first collaboration with Scarborough home brewer David Chang-Sang, of Chang-Sang Estates Brewery. Brewed with a special red malt, and dry-hopped with a mosaic of West Coast hops, the resulting beer has a classic citrus, pine and slightly sweet flavour profile.

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 8
Rich amber colour, mostly clear with a big frothy light-beige cap, bubbles forming, creaminess coming out, very good retention and lacing. Red ale aromas of maltiness with the fruitiness, caramel and nuttiness - for base. Grassiness comes out to give the IPA touch. The mouthfeel is pretty flat with a light dry building end. The taste blends well the hops with the malt base. An easy-drinking Red IPA that does not overpower the hops.
