I've been a true fan of Colt since Billy Dee Williams did the TV commercials. Only recently have I seen the 60's commercials on youtube. Yes it was a white man's beer, yes it became a black man's choice, but now it should be everyman's choice!

A pale yellow color with a white head. The aroma is rather malty with some corn notes. The flavor is some malty corn notes but no alcohol notes. This is not offensive at all which is a good aspect of a malt liquor. Pretty drinkable actually. Grab a fo-dee dawg.

I haven't had this in awhile. Haven't been able to find it anywhere since I was underage. Get's ya drunk quick.

This is a decent enough 40oz malt. The taste is surprisingly smooth with very slight adjunct flavor when the beer warms. Pours ok. I do recommend keeping it cold!

Shockingly acceptable for a Malt Liquor. The malt actually dominated the corn to an extent and this had less of that veggie/contaminated charater. Congrats, C45 DM, you're the one eyed man in the land of the blind.

I love this beer very very much. Its not much of a relax in front of a football game beer, this is beer for those that want to get crunked. It is my crew's personal favorite. It strangly has a large almost cult-like following, that i admit to belonging to. I have a strange loyalty to this beer.

I waited a long time to have this forty after having colt 45's other two malt liqours. I hoped for the best and expected the worst and in the end was quite impressed not only with the high alcohol content, but by the taste.
