Pours a clear golden colour with a slight off-white head that has decent retention and a little creamy lacing at the collar. Smells yeasty at first, but then some cereal grain aromas come out with hints of honey. The taste has the grain, but not the sweetness. Very mild dry mouthfeel. It's alright, but nothing special. 4.8% is a little high, I find, for the word "Session".

The beer pours a slightly hazed golden colour with a thin bubbly off-white head which does not last. The aroma is grainy malt and earthy hops and nothing else, a simple aroma. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is grainy malt with a weak hoppy finish. I know this beer is billed as a 'Session Ale' but everything about the aroma and flavour says pale lager, albeit a non-adjunct version of the style.
