LaCrosse Lager is a full-bodied, full-flavored original lager beer, made with world class brewing techniques, including kraeusening, pure artesian water, and natural carbonation. This lager is brewed a full 30 days, and chilled in lagering tanks to produce a softer, more enjoyable taste. 3.8% alcohol by weight and 147 calories per 12 oz. serving. (This was snatched from the brewers web site) This beer is made by the folks that used to brew Old Style back in the days when it was Chicago's number one beer. The quality of this beer is just fine, but what makes it stand out is the fantastic price, only 12 bucks for 30 beers! If you liked Old Style in the 70's and 80's give this beer a try.

A pale yellow color with a white head. A slight malty presence with some corn and hay. Thirty pack for $13 I’d kill this shit for real. Very smooth finish. This is impressive for a pale lager.

Fully Kraeusened, naturally carbonated goodness from Wisconsin. Mmmm. The body is a rich golden color (deeper than other pale lagers), and the head dissipates to just a thin layer. The aroma is somewhat malty, and the initial flavor follows suit. The flavor then becomes bitter, with cardboard-like qualities. The carbonation is rather fizzy -- not especially to my liking. Overall, this isn't a bad pale lager for the money, but I'll probably opt to spend more and get something better next time.

You can buy 30 packs of this at some stores in Wisc for around $10. It's a very tasteless watered down, overly malted unbalanced lager with a low ABV, so you probably need the whole 30 pack to catch a buzz. I tried this yesterday at a beer fest, and im glad i didn't purchase this one.

Solid swill, had a couple at my wife's sisters house the other day. Aroma and appearance are nothing to write home about. There is a fuller mouthfeel and a maltier taste than most commercial swills. Nothing spectacular but decent on a hot humid day while hanging out on the front porch.

Not a lager lover myself but this one went down pretty nice w/o that funkyness i've come to expect. A light aroma, this had a clean aftertaste that was nice. Not a whole lot of flavor, lost with a meal, but somewhat sweet and grainy. Very American i guess. darn drinkable

A nice light lager that is very cheap in the cans. Bright gold body with a rather large head. The arom ais grainy corn and some grass with a hint of sweaty socks. The taste is light corn and some honey with a little bit of spice in the finish. Not bad if you don’t mind a slightly sweet lager.

Moderately respectable coming from lacrosse, I figured it to be an old style product, but I came to realize that it was from the very nice city brewery. A lager, not great, but not shit.

Much like Old Style of the 70's and 80's.
