I grabbed a 6 pack of this brew while in Indiana for a wedding, so this review might be a little biased due to the celebratory mood of the reviewer while sampling this beer. First the bad part. I think that the sixer that I got ahold of was old, the odor was a bit off and all six bottles had more floaters than I've ever seen before. Buuuut... I liked this beer. The slightly cloudy reddish color of this brew is just the way I like it. The flavour was malty and smooth with a nice hop bitterness. This beer was lightly carbonated and had no head at all so it goes down easily. If you are ever in mid-Indiana look for this on tap, I would bet that it's fantastic.

This beer is just yummy, you will want to chew it. The maltyness of this beer is so deep that it comes across as a chocolate treat. I'm no beer reviewer, but I had to recomend this beer to my fellow hop heads. For the fair price the flavour of this tipple is fantastic.

We ALL know that this beer is rather dull, but it is no more awful than the rest of the light lagers.

As a Chicago guy I have had many many occasions to sample this tipple and I love it each time. The colour alone is worth the price of a pint as it's just so beautifully reddish brown. So far I have yet to drink a bad beer from Goose Island, so give 'em a try.
