Poured up on tab at the 05/26/09 Datz Deli CCB tasting with a slightly hazy brown – amber body and nice looking lasting tan head. The aroma is dark roasted coffee beans with faint roasted malts and a hint of sweetness. The taste hits first with oatmeal aided smooth notes from dark roasted coffee and roasty malts. Toward midway a brief moment of drying astringency surfaces. Midway and to the finish it gets really roasty with dark roasted coffee grounds. It ends refreshing, somewhat dry, roasty and with lingering coffee. Very nice coffee beer.

Oct. 2019: 355 ml can, shared by my son Steinar. ABV is 5.5%. Dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma of coffee and brown malts, also notes of chocolate, hints of vanilla. Slightly sweet flavour with the same ingredients, smooth and pleasant to drink.

Yet another rating that I forgot to add to Beerpal. Pours translucent sepia with a thick and rather fine-bubbled tan head. Aroma yields quality coffee, roast malt, woody and spice hints. Flavor delivers roast malt, quality coffee, sweetness, a little spice, a hint of woody hops. Texture presents peppy fizz and smooth, fairly firm body. Do it Cubano style.
