Rated in Oct. 2012. Poured up on tap at Freshcraft in Denver with semi clear (murky) brownish amber with a light tan head of foam. The aroma is largely sweet stewed sugared apple wedges, cinnamon and light levels of tropical mango like fruitiness. The taste is straight up cinnamon covered sweet freshly baked apple pie with somehow a bit of mango tropical fruit and citrusy malt sweetened tangelo notes tossed in there as well. The hops are just strong enough to poke through the treatment and even give up a complimentary sensation of mild citrus hop bitterness. It leaves a cinnamon as well as sweet cooked apple sensation well into the after taste. Who knew these notes were going to go together so well? Wow, what a fun beer.
