BRANDY EDITION This year, the Grande Reserve fermented in Brandy barrels will surprise you with a rich combination of flavours. From the first sip, the aromas of ripe dried fruit, such as sultanas and dates, come to the fore, mixed with a subtle hint of caramel. The velvety texture of caramel and dried fruit blends with toasted hazelnut on the palate. The inclusion of tannins adds a pleasant structure, while the bitterness perfectly offsets the alcohol. The result lingers, encouraging you to prolong the tasting experience. Brandy barrels 26 % French oak 24 % American oak 50 %

375 ml corked & caged bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 10.5%. Deep brown colour, large off-white head. Aroma of malts, brown kandij sugar syrup, dark dried fruits, oak and brandy, hints of mild spices. Flavour with the same elements. Good beer, but not the very best in the series.
