Comes out of the tap a somewhat hazy and quite bubbly amber with a thick, fine-bubbled, pale wheat head. Strong aroma is quite hoppy and has a firm fruity tone, mainly grapefruit with hints of orange and lemon. Fiercely hoppy flavor is rather bitter and has a strong fruity undertone, grapefruit and Mandarin orange with a hint of banana, as well as a hint of yeast. Texture is smooth firm and fizzy, while finish has a hoppy, bitter tingle.

Best beer I tried from Chattanooga Brewing: clear amber orange with a tight white head and big lacing. Nicely carbonated too. Nice citrus and apricot aromas, mostly grapefruit lemon and orange, and a good caramel-like malt presence for a balanced nose. Taste is hops forward, great citrus bitter, with a very nice sweet maltiness to offset the hops. Very very nice IPA - stellar effort. Will get growlers of this one.

Rating #2000 is a new local brewery.....On tap - Tremont Tavern. This poured a copper color with a small white head. The aroma contained caramel, citrus and perfume. The flavor was extremely bitter with some orange peels, lemons, and grapefruit. There was also a nice malt backbone to it with caramel present. The aftertaste is very bitter also. Overall any hophead is probably going to like this, and that is me!
