From Firefly. Poured arocky white head over a hazy orange body. Aroma was hopped and grapefruit. Tasted the same, too. Smooth mouthfeel and a bitter finish. Had not heard of this brewery up to now. A very interesting beer.

Purchased at Marché Omni (formerly Marché Jovi). Pours a clear golden-orange colour with a big foamy off-white head that stays a long, long time and leaves great lacing. Carbonation is pretty low, with a few big bubbles coming up to surface from time to time. Surprised to not have a big hoppy nose, but grainy with caramel sweetness from the malt. The hop is lightly hidden in the background. The taste is like burnt toffee with some bitterness in the finish, but still not overcoming the wetness on the tongue. No burns, but the alcohol is felt in the flavour. Nothing too crazy here, but easy-drinkability and nice to see a different take on this style. Still, prefer the hoppier double-IPAs.
