Microbrasserie Charlevoix offers us this great IPA brewed with champagne yeast. Why this name? Simply, the brewer, Nicolas Marrant, spent all the hops he had on hand.

Sampled at the 1st Festibiere d’hiver in Gatineau, Quebec. This one was hazy golden colour with an off-white head that had decent lace. Good spiciness in the nose. Nice dry mouthfeel. Fruity aftertaste with nice yeast. The finish is pleasantly dry-hopped. This was a great experience from Charlevoix (as I always enjoy their brews).
