    Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

750 ml capped bottle, bought at the brewery. Poured in the original L'Eurélienne Bavarian Seidel an unfiltered and opaque burgundy-brown coloured Ale with a generous three fingers beige and dense pillowy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Sustained carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is sweety caramel malts and strong spicy, cinnamom, cloves, licorice, honey notes. The flavour is sweety malts, herbs, rosemary, thyme, spicy, cinnamom, gingerbread, ginger and may be a touch of pepper, herbal hops. The mouthfeel is crispy and quite thick. This medium to full bodied Ale has a long spicy and bitter finish. A real contrast between the smell and the palate for this interesting and rare brew from a tiny farm-brewery.
