In this case, MBA stands for mild brown ale, but C’est What? Is so close to Toronto’s financial district, you have to wonder if it’s real. The beer pours a solid brown colour with a thin creamy tan coloured head. The aroma is caramel and roasted malt with some floral hops in there as well. Flavour is primarily nutty malt with a weak bitter finish. Doesn’t sound too exciting, but it’s a solid beer.

Another very good offering from Cest What. Ive come to appreciate their level of consistency, I havent found anything outstanding yet but Ive always enjoyed their beer - they have all been very nice to drink. The Brown Ale is no different. Nice smooth texture and decent aroma, seems like a good session beer, it is very mild and soft. I enjoyed while watching football and the two went together pretty nicely.
