Delicious thirst quencher. Best seller in Portugal. It has now three more sisters. Super Bock Green (lime flavored) Super Bock Stout (Excelent)and Super Bock Twin (alcohol free)

Pours clear topaz with a frothy parchment head. Aroma features crisp raw malt with a little zesty apple. Flavor provides crisp raw malt, some hops, a little apple. Texture yields decent fizz and body. Average, but enjoyable.

Not a 3%er bad beer, but nothing special either. Darker than a traditional lager or pale lager, a little. malty bite is good, but definitely leaning well into the gerneric (and ever so slightly) skunky side of things. Crisp and refreshing, though, so not a loss.

Aromas lean more towards the traditional lager with hay, grass, and stickey sweet malts. Pale yellow body, thin fizzy cap that leaves some spotty lace. Flavor about the same as the aroma, grass, malts, honey, ehh. Overall its about what you would expect, not terrible though.

Clear light yellow with quickly fading white foam head, just leaving small ring on glass. Aroma is like any other pale, so is taste. Short somewhat sweet aftertaste. (Velp 201212)

I admit, I thought this was Mexican when I ordered it...Spanish, Portuguese....what's the diff! Anyway, this is a refreshing pale lager that offers nothing new to the style. Clear, gold, grainy, some hops, and a taste to match.

A translucent yellow colored beer. Big sudsy textured white head rises above. Decent lacing of film all along the sides of the glass and light cap atop the body. All is good so far. And then. Everything in aroma and tasting is corn, sweet smooth grain. Not as offensive as it’s American wannabe.

The beer poured a translucent medium gold colour with high effervescence and a very thin white head. The aroma was grainy malt, some floral hops, and acidic tones. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was grainy malt, some yeast, and a bitter finish. Not a beer I would buy again. -

This poured a foamy white head, two fingers thick. over a body of clear light gold. A nice aroma of hops and malt greeted my nose. The taste I found to be rather good, quite good for an Iberian lager, with a good blend of hop and malt. Mouthfeel was proper and it finished well. Portugal - who knew they could do a decent beer as well as vino?

This beer pours a bright yellow colour with virtually no head from the can. On draught, it is medium sized head that dissipates rather quickly. very scarce however, with a white layer on top of the beer. aroma of grain and faintly of pear. grainy taste and a little watery.

Standard inoffesive pale lager. I'm giving it extra points since it lacks that bad finish that I find alot of swill has. Clean, corn-water-malt flavour. Pale gold, sudsy white head on the pour, and it actually laces the glass! I think thats a first for a pale lager. Sweet aroma, but nothing else beyond it. Could've been worse.
