Clear copper colour pour with a sudsy white head. Ok retention, slick lacing. Sweet caramel malt and pine aroma. Thick creamy smooth mouthfeel. The sweet malt flavour tends to hide the hops a little but there's still enough pine, grapefruit and earthy flavours to make this a good easy drinking DIPA

22 oz bottle. Pours clear reddish orange with a big creamy off white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is sugary caramel malts and tropical fruit with some metallic notes.

The flavor is sweet biscuity malts with sugary fruit and a resiny hop finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, decent sweet fruity biscuity DIPA.

Drinking beer for a great cause should be mandatory. More than half of the price of this beer goes towards a charity for Autism. Bring on more charitable brews! This one pours a fairly average amount of foamy head and goes away soon enough but leaves nice dirty lacing. Has a light amber appearance. Aromas of roasted malts and fairly bitter earthy, resin hops. Flavours are well balanced between hops and malts. Nice sweet bitterness from hops and has some breads and toasty malts in the mix as well. Pretty strong alcohol content but doesn't really show itself at first. Slowly creeps up, which is nice and not in your face. Nice and creamy mouthfeel, with a slick warming sensation. Very good and hope this brewery or any other for that matter, follow suit. Good stuff!

Single bottle from the LCBO, under "Imperial IPA for Autism". Pours a clean deep amber colour with a frothy-creamy, light beige head, with good retention and soapy lacing. Definitely smells like an IPA with the hops (grapefruits, pine), but is also Imperial with the sweet caramel malts and mild alcohol. The mouthfeel is pretty smooth though, with just a slight warming, but no burning. A nicely balanced taste between the grassy-citrusy hops and some mild roasted malts. A beautiful bitterness that is not too dry, making this one very easy to drink. Quite a nice blended Impy IPA and well-worth the price to support a good cause.

650ml bottle (as Central City Imperial IPA for Autism)
    9.0% ABV
Royal Bank Plaza LCBO Outlet (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)

The beer pours a hazed golden-orange colour with a 1" tan coloured head and plenty of effervescence. The aroma is pine, citrus and hints of caramel. Mouthfeel is full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is slightly sweet, not a lot of citrusy hop bite, alcohol is well hidden. I was expecting more, but then I was disappointed by RTed Racer as well.

From Central City's own store, in a bomber. Modestly sized ivory head over a clear copper pour. Nose was an excellent balance of hops, citrus, and pine resin. Mouthfeel was spectacular, ultra smooth and rich yet not cloying. Flavour was an echo of the bouquet, hops, grapefruit and piney resins all nicely balanced. Balanced too was the finish, Absolutely delicious. And for a bit of serendipity, while shopping at the same store the other day, a clerk went out of her way to let me know that they had but one bottle left of this one; guess she recognized me as a regulatr. I bought it as a keeper, thus enabling me to enjoy this one now rather than later.
