Detective Saison is a smooth, dry, classic French Saison-style wheat ale, balanced with a fine malt character and a spicy attitude with the added complexity of pink peppercorns. A witty intellect, Detective Saison has an iron constitution about right and wrong and her pursuit of truth and justice is unrelenting.

Bomber from BCLDB Willowbrook. Pale gold pour, VERY cloudy, and a generous head of white foam. Grassy nose, lemon as well. Mouthfeel quite nice for the style, maybe the best thing about this one. Flavour again with the grass and lemons, more like a lager. Peppery finish was okay, I guess from the pink peppcorns. By no means a great saison, not even a good one.
