We are excited to launch our Wild IPA, the first in our brand new Elemental Series of beers. The Elemental Series is the culmination of our commitment to experimentation and innovation! We’re going to be diving deep into unique styles, alternate microbes and obsessing over the elemental makeup of these beers. These beers will typically be available for a short time and in limited quantities. This is an invitation into the lab that you won’t want to miss! 😉 Up first in the Elemental Series is our Wild IPA. This Wild IPA is fermented with a yeast called Saccharomyces “brux” trois, which imparts an enticing tropical fruit aroma that complements its fruit-forward hop profile. Recently out of the experimental stage, El Dorado and Azacca hops are key to the overall bouquet of the fruity and melon character of this Wild IPA.

Bomber from Brookswood. Pour of cleaer, darker gold, very heady - a rocky. ivory thing with superior hang-time and lacing, although the second pour was rather cloudy. Citrus and pine in the aroma, plus no shortage of yeastiness. Above average mouthfeel. Flavour was indeed that of an IPA, with the addition of wild yeast. Okay at the finish. An interesting variation on the NW IPA.
