    (as Castlemaine XXXX Export Lager by Carlsberg Italy). Golden colour, small head. Aroma of malts and skunked hops. Flavour is harsh cooked vegetably malts, something that will not make a traditional meat-eating Finn happy. One of the worst things I have had in a long time. (I wonder if the Italians are making this under license, and making it crap, as people seem to rate the aussie version higher).

    My rating for this comes from very early in my beer rating career and I haven't had an opportunity to rerate. "It's been a while since I had in Australia back in 1998 and I guess that was before it started 'going downhill' because it was bitter and the bitterness was unbalanced. Not good."

    haha the pride of QLD. All right considering it quenches yer thirst pretty quick, and being a full strength is perfect for long downing sessions with yer mates . Best scenario : get in a dingy, bug off into te middle of the river and drink yerself stupid with a couple of mates.
