A murky orange color with a diminishing beige head. The aroma contains some citrus, bread, and floral notes. The flavor is a bit dry with some citrus, earthy notes, and a hint of caramel. Not as sweet as many I’ve had from this style. Overall more like a simple Belgian than anything but not bad.

A really nice golden beer. Every mouthful is enjoyable and refreshing. The flavor is supreme. If I could find the beer more frequently it would be a mainstay on the beer shelf,

My first experience with the style of biere de garde. Not sure what to expect, but now that I've had it I know that it's pretty damn good. Aroma was yeasty, like fresh bread. I could also pick-up slight hints of pears. The appearance was incredible with a lacing that was eye popping. Light yellow/orangish color with a slight haze. Mouthfeel was very nice, slightly harsh with the carbonation but nothing that detracted this beer in the least. Flavor was honeyish sweet, very yeasty, a nice bite and malty. Easy going down, I was suprised I'd finished the 750ml bottle so quickly!

Again, my first beer of this style, so I don't know how to really rate it. Beer poured a light color, cloudy with HUGE head. The taste was very akin to a saison (in fact, I can't tell the difference). I thought it was somewhat lacking in taste until it warmed, when the nice sweety taste came out, somewhat countering the "dirty barn" saison taste. I enjoyed the second half of the glass far more the the first.

Poured a yellow color with a relatively small head that sustained itself through the drink. The aroma was somewhat malty and sweet with a funkiness to it (not sure barn or hay was there). The flavor was pretty darned sweet, followed by a bit of funkiness. Somewhat toffee and caramel like, which I don't remember from the La Bav I had from this style. Mouthfeel was fairly thick and sweet.

Light gold color. Large sized white fizzy head. Aroma is malty, spicy and a touch grassy. A medium bodied biere de garde. Malts are fruity and sweet. Touches of barnyard but very mild. Very smooth taste. Light and refreshing. Soft carbonation. Touch of citrus and grass. Very drinkable beer. A touch sweet. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Pours a bright golden yellow with a large aggressive and sticky dense white head. Aroma is lightly sweet, spicy and floral, hay-like and yeasty. Flavor starts lightly sweet, with honey and floral flavors, turns spicy and floral, with some great yeasty character.
