(Bottle #2088) Beautiful ruby/purple coloring. Head starts bubbly and full and migrates towards a champagne-like froth - constantly effervescent. Nose is deep fruity malt with a note of sugary caramel and underlying hint of alcohol. Bitter, medicinal herbs open the palate and come back around at the finish. Middle focuses strongly on the fruity malts and as the beer warms reminded me acutely of rum raisin. 8.5% ABV warms throughout, but isn't overpowering. Quite possibly the best Mexican beer I've ever tasted.

Pours with a cloudy, amber brown body topped by a thick head with a good amount of lacing. It’s bitter and slightly sour with a touch of sweet malt, a little spice and some flowery notes. Medium bodied, slightly dry and warming.
