Made with generous amount of heather tips and sweet gale additions for an herbal almost tea like gruit flavors with a hint of mint aromas coming from the heather tips. The malt bill is based off a Scottish Light.

On tap at Arrow and Loon. Pours no head whatsoever. Has an amber appearance. Aromas are a bit on the perfumy side but has a bit sweet malt hints as well. Flavours are quite fruity, some berries and dried fruit. The gruit comes through more in the finish I find but still quite noticeable and enjoyable.

Sampled at the Loon. Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with a small off-white head and light lacing. Fruity aromas with gooseberry notes. Berry taste with the gruit. Short finish. Quite a nice surprise from Cassel Brewery for International Gruit Day 2016.
