In celebration of the Carolina Brewery's seventh year, we are proud to roll out our Anniversary Ale brewed in the style of the Trappist Monks of Europe. It is malty and refreshing with a light hop addition for minimum bitterness. By using traditional Belgian malts and yeast, this beer has its own unique aromatic qualities. Since much of its flavor is derived from the authentic yeast strain, it is gently filtered to prevent the delicate flavors from being stripped away. As is the custom in Belgium and the Netherlands, a touch of dried orange peel, cumin, and coriander is added to round out the flavor.
