I tried a couple of these at the local Applebee's the other night. Found it rather pale and sort of bland for a beer that was has been known for it's robust hop flavor according to the locals at the restraunt. It's a little too light, malty taste for my likeing but still wasen't a horrible beer the aftertaste is rather nice and rather sweet tasteing.

I picked up a bottle of this from the Kroger in Salem, VA. Not what I was expecting. I was expecting a creamy ale like beer - something more akin to a traditional Brittish Pub Ale. Not great, not terrible. Tasted more like a lighter american lager.

Aroma is quite strong and malty with firm yeasty and fruity notes, not great but promising. It pours a rather typical clear golden amber with a white head that disappears rather quickly. Malty flavor has a fruity undertone, apple and a touch of banana, slightly sour, just a whisper of hops. Body and fizz are about average. Nothing special, but fine for a party or to go with lunch.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12oz bottle into a pint glass. Appearance: It has a pale straw yellow color with good clarity and visible carbonation. The head is thin, bright white and foamy. It quickly fades leaving little to no lace behind. Smell: The aroma is mild and has hints of light malty grains and husky notes. Taste/Mouth feel: The flavor is simple crisp and clean. Light malty grains give it a slightly sweet character with a touch of citrus and leafy/herbal hops. Its light body, fairly thin texture and crisp finish make it easy to drink. Notes: Overall it’s an easy drinking beer with a good clean favor but it’s not a stand out.

Pale gold pour with little to no head. Light, malty taste. Overpowering honey flavor when it's all over. This was a fair disappointment as I had heard better things about Carolina Brewing.

Pours pale yellow with medium head. Aroma of some hops, malt, and honey. Tastes malty, with some honey and hops at the finish. A decent blonde ale....

A nice light golden coloring and a very light head upon pouring. Sweet aroma with very little bitter smell. Easy to drink, very smooth taste and nice finish.

Pours pale gold, almost hazy, with no head. Sweet-tart berry-like aroma that carries into the flavor. Mild grassy flavor with very faint honey flavor and trace bitterness. Easy drinking, pleasant, but doesn't stand out.

Part of an $8.50 mixed sixer purchased at Whole Foods in Charlottesville. Bright gold colored brew, slightly hazy, with a brilliant white head. With its sweet corn nose and tomato taste, I am tempted to call this a garden variety beer. It's got a light and refreshing body and a crisp and clean finish.
