Pours a dark, chocolate brown with a thick, tan head that leaves persistent lacing. Chocolate aroma with a hint of coffee. Thick in the mouth with a complex taste of coffee and chocolate with a sweet aftertaste. Awesome.

Decent aroma with a hint of citrus. Light blonde color with little head and little lacing. Tastes of lemons. Feels like water and might as well be. Nice on a hot day but not much else.

Not much aroma but has a faint smell of burnt chocolate. Dark, rich color. Persistent head. Dry finish to a beer that is a little more bitter than I like but knew going in. Nothing horrible about this beer if you like the style.

Copper color. Small, short-lived head with slight lacing. Smells of pine and citrus. Very nice blend of hops and malt. Mild for an ESB. I try to drink local crafts when travelling on business. This did not disappoint.

Pale gold pour with little to no head. Light, malty taste. Overpowering honey flavor when it's all over. This was a fair disappointment as I had heard better things about Carolina Brewing.
