Why on earth should the British even try brewing pilsener/lager - they're so much better at ales and stouts. If you after all, of some obscure reason, should choose to drink pils in England: Stick to the imports.

Pale yellowish in color with white head. What you'd expect for a cheap pale lager from coors. Not much in the way of taste, slightly malty but you can taste the alcohol in it as it doesn't cover the taste well at all.

Very flat and tasteless. It has to be one of the poorer European beers out there. It pours out like stagnant water, and it doesn't really improve at any stage. One to be avoided.

Had it under the name of Carling Lager, but it had 4.1 ABV, so... I don't know... Color is very pale yellow and there's a huge amount of foam. Aroma is good, having hops and malt in it. Taste is an average European lager, aftertaste is good bready and refreshing.

It's beer, ok? That's about it. I had no idea when some people I knew sent me to pick up some beer in London that this was rot-gut stuff. Heck, I didn't know. Still, I think it's all-in-all an honest beer, but not much more.

Canned. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is harsh grass, some wheat, grains and earthyness. Flavour is dry papery, quite harsh, and has a lot of mouldd, rubber and metal when it gets warmer. WOW.

Nothing particularly wrong with this beer. Unfortunately, nothing is particularly right with it. It's still relatively refreshing, but fairly tasteless. Hard to distinguish it from the other standard lagers. Not really impressed.

What Im sampling is our (Ontario) domestic brewed Black Label, contracted to Molsons. Though it is quite apperent that this isnt a quality beer by any stretch, I didnt find it too bad - in fact, dare I say it - I kinda liked it even. Far from anything close to the wonderful beers of monk-Belgium or craft-USA but for what it is - a cheap mass produced lager, it was not bad.

This is horrible stuff and I can not believe this crap has been around for light years. It must be a front for something. Surely no one making this stuff can turn a profit. Water with foul taste. Nothing close to beer. I was exposed to this stuff when I was in the Navy and hit some of the cheap waterfront bars in the gut of most liberty ports. Good thing is after about 8 of these the girls did start looking better. Not much tho

Pretty poor light yellow color, sort of stale skunky flavor and aroma and a disappointing mouth feel. I have tried this one a number of times but it never improves

This wasn’t as bad as I expected but wasn’t anything to be proud of. lol. another workin man’s beer. tasted like PBR. more flavor than most pale lagers, but still lacking in... imagination...
