I actually have very little problem with the beer - except it doesn't taste like beer. The beer is surprisingly refreshing and effervescent in the mouth. It tasted great on a summer evening. I would likely get this again but not because I wanted a beer.

This is probably the weirdest looking beer I have ever tried. It pours a bright, clear flame-red with a decent pinkish head that doesn't stick around. Flavor is strongly of ginger and slightly sweet. Nice, but I like my beers to smell like beer. Flavor is rather sweet, more like soda pop than beer, but there is just a bit of malt. Texture is thick like beer, smooth and fizzy. I was willing to give this a try, but I prefer beer that tastes like beer.

What’s this? What a mistake! I’m drinking soda pop. Trf volor is not the color of beer. A reddish head. Now that’s different. Doesn’t stay around very long. Light frothy cap ontop of the body. The aroma is ginger. Where’s the malt? The hops? Syrupy body. The taste is just like the aroma. All ginger. No malt. No hops. Good thing I only bought one of these.

I purchased both the ginger and the sorrell varieties. I tried the sorrell first. It poured a brillant red with red foamy head. The aroma was sweet and spicy. The flavor was also sweet and spicy. It tastes like cinnamon flavored pop. The aroma and taste remind me of Lavoris. (in a good way) Would I want one of these often? no but they are cool for something different. At 1.2% They are more pop than beer.

I liked the gingerish aroma when first opening the bottle. It poured a very pale yellow color with just a hint of lacing. The taste was very nice-almost that of a high quality ginger beer soda (I'm thinking of Big Ben's of PA). It was very smooth and enjoyable summer-type beverage.

I had the ginger version. It pours with a golden body topped by a thin white head with little lace. Strong ginger aroma with a slight Maltiness. Smells like ginger ale. Very sweet ginger flavor with some malty notes. Unlike any beer I've ever had. They might as well just make ginger ale, that's what this reminds me of anyway. Light bodied and, hey wow, sodalike on the tongue.
