A nice sour from Cantillon. 2009 bottle. Funky barnyard, lemons, and some floral qualities to the aroma. Flavor is sour, not quite bracingly so, but not subtle either. There is little sweetness, but an underlying pleasant fruitiness, with hints at bitterness and stinky cheese. Good stuff.

Tasted at the Triple Rock Sour and Barrel Aged Fest on 2/12/2011. This fruit lambic pours a medium orange gold color from a 750ml bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is funky, tart, fruity and sweet. A medium bodied fruit lambic. The malts are fruity and sweet, funky and barnyard with some oak. The hops are earthy. The funk, must, barnyard, tartness and sweetness are equally blended in this beer. Lively carbonation. Expertly layered. WOW. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly tart.

Thanks Casey! .. Pours a light yellow .. light spotty lacing .. medium head for a lambic .. . flowers, funk, light wood, and more light flowers .. . clean as a razor, great feel to it .. . even tastes fresh, great stuff.. . the beer of the day- easy .. . . When you go in for a job interview, I think a good thing to ask is if they ever press charges..

Bottle: Poured a dirty yellowish color lambic with a large foamy head with good retention and some very good lacing as well. Aroma is absolutely dominated by elder flowers and is somewhat of an acquired taste. Taste is also dominated by elder flowers and provides a floral and somewhat peppery taste to this beer which is well integrated with the tart and oak from the base lambic. Very refreshing overall though a bit too much flowers for my taste.
