Made from orange blossom honey, this light mead is a nice complement with fruit and cheese.

Clear deep yellow and still. Aromas are tart, grapey, and floral, but it tastes better. As far as I can tell, this is a show mead, unflavored except the honey. It's a good showcase. Sweet and clean honey flavor with hints of apple, grape, flowers (chrysanthemum? chamomile?), yeast, bread, butter. Smooth, leggy, thick, and alcoholic, a whole glass can be a bit much.

I've had a couple of meads already and I was expecting a too sweet drink. In this one I was pleasantly surprised. The pour is golden, like honey. The nose is light honey and fruity apple. The tasting the same as in the nose but more pronounced. Mulled, a good dry compliment to New Year meal.

This is much better than the homemade stuff my neighbor tried to make. Not sure quite what to expect I was pleasantly satisfied having a couple glasses from this bottle. Aroma is a touch sweet but rather calm. Pours like a white wine, nice clear color. Mouthfeel is slightly dry with a good clean finish. Tasty, the honey is subtle and crisp. Not too sweet it feels and tastes just right. Dry and not very acidic this is a good drink.
