The Brewer's special blend of four unique malts including chocolate & carmel malt. A light taste of coffee with a sweet finish makes this one of our best selling beers.

Pours a dark brown colour with a thin vanilla head. Slightly watery, plenty of carmel and nuttiness in the aroma. Mildly acidic with a soft hop finish.

I've sampled pretty much all the beers calumet has to offer, and they all have a distinct hoppy flavor. Generally, they're not very carbonated. It's pretty smooth, and the flavor is alright. But as the last poster said, it doesn't have anything that comes out and GRABS you. The head is almost non-existant on this beer. It lasts for about 1 min, then goes away. Overall, it's good because it's very cheap, and Rowland is a great guy -- but he still needs more experience in brewing! Anyways keep up the good work, I have to respect you for what you do! See you in the future.

I'll join the "Thanks CaptainCougar" parade. A Very light-bodied brew w/ a thin, watery mouth feel. It's certainly could be guzzled, but it doesn't have anything that grabs you. Also, it has very little carbonation. It starts off slightly sweet & has a mild, simple finish.
