Slightly muddy dark brown with a tight short tan head, copious amounts of lacing. Roasted malts initially dominate the aroma and palate but quickly give way to a subtle smooth chocolatey velvety smooth mouthfeel and flavor. Rich and almost creamy, extremely tasty for a low ABV beer (around 5% so says the brewer) - loved it, want a growler now...
