Feb. 2016: 500 ml bottle, from Matkroken Stokka. BB date 28. April 2014. ABV is 4.4%. Black colour, moderate but lasting tan head. Sweetish malty and lightly roasty aroma, more malts and caramel than coffee, also notes of chocolate and vanilla. Smooth flavour, delightful lightly roasted quality malts, some sweetness but not too much, notes of chocolate, toast and mild coffee, moderate hops. Definitely a beer I’d buy again.

Pours out in an almost black colour with ruby edges. Rounded aroma of coffee, roasted malts and cocoa-powder. Medium-bodied with notes of black currant, roasted malts and cold coffee. Medium-bitter finish of roasted malts, nuts and cocoa-powder.

Near black, slim tan head. Roast malt aroma. Sweet and roasted malt taste. Smooth and creamy with a light sweet coffee finish. Nice. A very easy drinking stout.
