Pretrichor is named for the smell of a fresh spring rain, and is released around the vernal equinox. Brewing this beer with a considerable amount of rye gives it a bit of grainy and spicy malt flavor. Late-hopped in the whirlpool with Amarillo and Saaz creates a fruity, herbal bouquet reminiscent of our Pale Ale. The Ohio wildflower honey we use accentuates this beer's floral and herbal notes and leads to a dry, snappy finish.
