Cloudy yellow with a big head that loses steam quickly. Immediate aroma of apple, pear, mild clove, candy, and just a whiff of lemon. As it settles, some banana makes an appearance. Lemon and underripe banana vie at first sip, lemon getting the upper hand, but not by much. The flavor is, overall, quite mild but pleasantly wheaty. Wet, refreshing, light, carbonation a bit too large. I probably like this better than some beers I've rated higher.

Pours a brighter yellow than most wheat beers; hazy and little head nor lacing. Good carbonation. Aroma is like some dropped Lemonhead candy into a decent wheat beer; lemony, a tad sour, and sweet smelling with some wet wheats and a touch of a recognizable hefe/yeast/banana nose. Taste is somewhat like the aroma with an almost candy sweet lemon flavor and then some noticeable wheat characteristics. Not on the top of my list for this style.

Admittedly, this is not my favorite style of beer. However, I did like the cloudy yellow coloring as well as the lacing on the top. The aroma was typical of this style-somewhat sour. The taste was sour as well, but again, it was in keeping of this style. I've had better and I've had worse. Still, Buternuts does a good job and this would be worth the try.
