Woohoo! I’m the tenth rater of this bad boy and it deserves it’s reputation. I even managed to witness the death of this honorable hop showcase. I walk in, start talking to kujo9 and order up my pint of the stuff. No problem, except I’m planning on walking out with a growler. They don’t provide growlers anymore and only fill growlers you provide. Doesn’t matter. I got the last or next to last pint anyway. Don’t worry kids, even the brewer was surprised at the beer’s popularity and quick demise. I’d bet on it becoming a frequent tenant on the Buckeye tap lines. Hazy amber with a thick creamy head. Huge hoppy aroma. Apricot and grapefruit. Nice malt backbone, but the hops are definitely the focus. Tongue tingling from the dominating Amarillo flavor but no over-the-top or harsh bitterness. Damn I love this hop. Damn I love this beer.
