This bright, juicy, West Coast-style IPA takes on a reddish twist from a dash of roasted malt. Bold, fruity hop bitterness and an intensely resinous nose lead the way into a dry finish that blazes the trail for your next sip. Who is this masked hero? The Defender emerged in an era when gloomy walls and bland beer held our city in a stranglehold. Slowly, murals began to brighten the landscape and flavorful beer flooded the taps. Today the city is alive with fiery art and delicious beer. The Defender maintains constant vigilance to battle back the blandness lurking around the edges. Ours is a world of light and fury and song. This is its Defender. Brooklyn Defender IPA was forged in collaboration with our sidekicks at New York Comic Con as the official beer of the convention.

On tap at Epcot - America. Pours clear dark golden with a medium sized off-white head, good lacing. Fruity, melon, pineapple and pine. Tasty

35,5cl bottle from a ferry on the Baltic sea. Pours clear golden with a modest, white head. Fairly fruity aroma with malty notes; ripe fruits, hints of grass, herbs and citrus. Moderate to medium sweet with fairly mild, but balanced flavours and bitterness. Enjoyable enough.

Pours clear copper with a thick and somewhat persistent buff head. Aroma delivers typical but pleasing evergreen hop and fresh malt character. Flavor features more hops, more evergreen, and a little bitterness. Mouthfeel presents decent body and jazzy fizz. Call me Brook-tron, Defender of the Beeriverse - or Dairug-beer XV!

A murky orange-amber colored beer with a big sudsy textured light beige colored beer. There's good hang time on the head. A robust ringlet is left. Bold citric and some pin hoppiness. Tart hioppiness nicely balanced by a sweet maltiness. The balance makes this one quite sessionable. Full bodied, crisp.
